Talk:Iran-China relations

[edit] Article needs major expansion
This article is a good start, but it surely needs more expansion, as there's a two thousand-year gap between Parthia and modern Iran. Extensive and friendly relations existed between the Tang Dynasty and the Sassanid Empire. In fact, after the fall of the Sassanids to the Arabs, the last Shah, Pirooz, fled to China, which was a friendly country. There's also the extensive trade networks and the east-west transfer of people that occured under Mongol rule of both China and Persia, and later one, I believe the founding emperor of the Ming, Zhu Yuanzhang was part of a religious sect heavily influenced by Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism. --Yuje 01:34, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
