• Image Processing Unit, a unit that typically handles 2D graphics processing. For example, the part Sony's of Emotion Engine that decodes image data
• Indirect potable use, a method of indirectly using reclaimed water for drinking water
• Irish Pharmaceutical Union, a representative body for Pharmacists in Ireland and publishers of the IPU Review
