iPodRip is a commercial iPod recovery tool for Mac OS X featuring an iTunes style interface, complete data recovery from your iPod and seamless integration with iTunes. It was originally released in August 2003 and has since had over 2 million downloads.
It supports importing songs from every iPod release including importing movies from the latest generation iPods. As such it is often recommended on Apple's support forums.
It is one of the more famous products developed out of the MacHack (Convention) hacks during MacHack 2003. Unfortunately the developer never demonstrated it thinking the hack "too simple" when compared to Unstoppable Progress and GUI Kablooie, both of which wowed the audience.
