Iowa State Daily

The Iowa State Daily is the official student newspaper of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, published in print and online. It was founded in 1890, and its publication is funded by advertising revenues as well as funds from the government of the student body. It is distributed on campus free of charge.

The paper is published five days a week during the fall and winter semesters, and twice weekly during the summer. The daily printed circulation is 14,000.

On March 22, 2007, the Daily launched AMUSE, a tabloid-style guide to be published every Thursday. It is a guide to entertainment in Ames for the upcoming weekend and contains special interest articles.

The current Editor-in-Chief is Pat Brown.
