Iowa One Call

Iowa One Call is the call center, established in Davenport, Iowa where property owners, construction contractors, surveyors and utility companies call to report a project that will involve digging into the ground.

The center takes the information by fax, email or phone and passes it on to utilities with underground facilities in the area where the work will take place so that the facilities can be appropriately marked out with the hope of eliminating the loss of service or the risk of property damage and/or injury.

Iowa one call's parent corporation is One Call Systems, based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Davenport call center also handles a percentage of the call requests for the state of South Dakota.
