Iowa Highway 86 is a state highway that runs from north to south in northwest Iowa. It links the communities of Triboji Beach, Egralhavre and Wahpeton along the west shore of West Okoboji Lake to surrounding communities. This route was formerly known as Iowa Highway 32. It becomes Minnesota Highway 86 a few miles north of Milford after crossing the state line and was renumbered to avoid confusion. This is the fourth instance of Highway 86 in the state.
