"Even his name inspired a vague dread" seems misplaced: after all, at this point in the story, no one would have known the killer's name. - Jmabel | Talk 18:56, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Name
This just dawned on me: the man did not get a chance to tell us whether he would like his name spelled with an "î" or an "â". Since he never spelled his name with an "â", we must not presume that he would have. When we were learning the letter "â" back in the 1980s, they used to tell us that it is "only present in român, România & related, as well as in the names of people like Agârbiceanu and Brâncuşi, as names are generally not subject to changes". Let's adapt the guideline in reverse. Dahn 13:04, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
