Talk:Ioan P. Culianu

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The speculation has never been that Culianu was murdered on Ceausescu's orders. From personal observation, it was pretty clear that those were flushed out of the system very quickly. Speculation has been that it was Iliescu and co. that ordered the deed. TMLutas 04:37, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

You are partly right. However, most speculation I know of is that he was killed by the Securitate acting more or less independently (the "good part of the Securitate" that Vadim keeps taliking about). This may or may not be linked by observers to the Iliescu regime and the SRI - I have included part of the removed fragment back, in the eventuality that it did not. Dahn 09:18, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
