Investec Bank

Investec is an international specialist banking group. The company was established as a leasing company in 1974 in Johannesburg, acquiring a banking license in 1980, and listed on the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa in 1986.
In October 2006, Investec bought out the sponsorship rights to the Australian section of the international rugby union competition, the Super 14.
