Inuzuka Kiba's Looooong Day (Japanese: 犬塚キバのなが～い一日, - Inuzuka Kiba no naga~i ichinichi) is episode 184 of the anime series Naruto.

This episode involves Akamaru and Kiba Inuzuka. The episode starts out with the Fifth Hokage giving Naruto Uzumaki a new mission. She wants him to spy on Kiba and Akamaru. When asked why the Fifth explains about Kiba's recent mission. A few days prior, enemy ninjas poisoned Akamaru with an unknown substance.

Elsewhere, the poison starts to take effect and Akamaru briefly disobeys Kiba and almost attacks him. He eventually overcomes this.

At the Inuzuka house Kiba and his sister Hana Inuzuka talk about Akamaru's recent behavior. Hana confirms that Akamaru was infected by the poison. Kiba notes that it is quite unlikely that his sister is wrong.

Naruto then comes to the Inuzuka house, but is attacked by Akamaru. Naruto tries to fend him off, but Akamaru still manages to hold on. Kiba then realizes whats happening, rushes outside and restrains Akamaru.

The next morning Naruto gives his report to Tsunade on what he has observed over the past 24 hours. Unfortunately, their meeting is interrupted by an emergency report. Some shinobi were attacked while training, and claw marks left on a tree nearby looks like that of a dog's.

Later at the Inuzukas' home ANBU's come to collect Akamaru under Tsunade's orders. Kiba attempts to resist but Hana steps in and forces her brother to step down and let them take Akamaru for treatment.

The next day Kiba is sent to the veterinarian to bring some herbs for Akamaru. He notices Naruto heading toward the Hokage's office.

In the Hokage's office Naruto discusses about Akamaru being taken into custody. Tsunade says that they will try to heal Akamaru. When asked if he couldn't be healed, Tsunade replies that they would then have no choice but to kill him.

Meanwhile at the vet Kiba quietly sneaks out Akamaru in a bag.

Shizune then informs Tsunade and Naruto that Akamaru has escaped. When pressured by Naruto not to kill him, Tsunade informs him that its a tough decision for her too.

While running in the forest Kiba runs through memories between him and Akamaru. He starts thinking that he might not have been a good master and that is why this is happening to Akamaru in the first place.

Kiba finally stops at a spot somewhere deep in the woods. Akamaru's fur turns red and Kiba realizes that Akamaru is getting worse. However, he refuses to go back and help. Naruto, meanwhile, is out searching for Akamaru and Kiba in the forest.

Back at the office Shizune reports that neither Kiba nor Akamaru have been sighted. Tsunade then calls in a special task force into her office. She hands the person an anti-toxin, but also informs the person that it only has a fifty percent success rate. If the anti-toxin doesn't work, the person is ordered to kill Akamaru.

Naruto at last finds Kiba who is backing into a tree and staring terrified in front of him. Naruto sees Akamaru, a large dog with huge fangs, and asks Kiba what it is. Kiba explains that it is Akamaru fully transformed.

Kiba attacks Akamaru with the intention to stop him himself, but Naruto stops him. Naruto attempts to explain that a team of special pursuits are on their way to kill Akamaru unless he and Kiba can find a way to cure him right now. It seems at first that Kiba understands but then starts to attack once more and calls Naruto a liar. Suddenly, the fight is stopped as several dogs and one person enters the clearing. Kiba and Naruto look over and are shocked to see Hana Inuzuka , who was the one assigned to find them. She holds up the anti-toxin and explains to Naruto, who thinks that it will help, that there is only a fifty percent chance it will. Naruto simply replies that they need any help possible.

Hana tells Kiba to move aside if he won't help. Kiba simply stares at Akamaru, frozen. Instead of waiting, she and Naruto attack. While the two manage to pin Akamaru to the ground he quickly relents. The anti-toxin is knocked out of Hana's hands as she and Naruto are thrown back and lands at Kiba's feet.

Crying, Kiba picks up the serum and apologizes to Akamaru for putting him in danger. Akamaru attacks, and a cloud of dust and rubble goes up as Kiba succeeds in injecting Akamaru with the anti-toxin.

In a hospital room Hana, Naruto, and Tsunade are standing around Kiba's and Akamaru's bed discussing the events of the previous day and how Akamaru nearly missed Kiba's vital parts. Kiba cuts in and everyone looks over at him shocked to find him awake. He says that Akamaru was fighting with himself and that he used the last of his senses to stop himself from fully attacking Kiba. In the end it wasn’t a fight between friends but a fight between Akamaru. Kiba smiles and then looks over at Akamaru and thanks him.
