Talk:Interstellar communication

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Interstellar Communication already exists!"

Why not post a large orbiting billboard, seems crazy to send a signal thats going to take forever to arrive. Imagine looking through Hubble and seeing an "Eat at Joe's" billboard next to planet Good burger. I believe a communications network already exist and all we need to do is find and start using it. We need to start using more Hubble type devices to look for this type of communication. It is my belief that the first Human to interstellar cousin communication will be of a visual nature.

To me the number of civilizations that should already be communicating is astronomical and I don't think it's a matter of intelligence, but a matter of size and longevity.- getting recognized. If other civilizations with immensely more powerful telescopes are out there looking we should make it easier for them to physically see us.
