Talk:Interpunk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If anyone has any more info about interpunk and how it operates please feel free to contribute. It seems to be a massive entity that holds alot of sway in the realm of alternative merchandising and I think that it deserves a wikipedia artical. Thanks Reallybadtrip 15:28, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Usefulness of article

Does this article really belong here? If this store is in fact a large establishment I could see it being listed. However I can not even get to Interpunk's website (may be an outage/lag), also the information in the article is not verifiable, mainly the following line:

After tons of hard work and countless sleepless nights Interpunk grew into being the biggest punk rock store in the world.

I wanted to post here and see if anyone was taking care of the article instead of proposing it for deletion right away.

There are references to interpunk everywhere. The volume of products that goes through this site, or at least the number of products available on this site, is staggering. Flip through any "alternative" zine and you will find a multitude of advertisements for, and refrences to, interpunk. The problem is that, whiled thier are lots of explainations on how to buy stuff from the site, thier are no narratives actually about it, which is why I created the artical.

I just tried the website and I don't know why it isn't working.Reallybadtrip 20:47, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Yep, it isn't even my preferred genre of music, but I've heard of Interpunk. Maybe it's already been concluded by now that it's notable, but here's the Alexa page for Interpunk, though I'm not really familiar with what the rankings mean, heh. --Galaxiaad 06:15, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
