[edit] More history needed

There's some stuff that doesn't make sense on the IH web site. It says in several different places that the first students entered in 1956, that it opened in 1957 and officially opened in 1958. The official history probably explains this, but I don't have access to a copy. It would also be nice if there was a complete list of wardens wiht dates, and info on when the various buildings opened. De Guerre 06:08, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

On their website they have an email address for enquiries. We could email them and ask them to clarify those points. If they can't help, they may be able to link us with someone who may have that information at hand. Most people are happy to help with information when asked because it is in their interests for us to have an accurate and informative article. Also, their history page lists several potential contacts. There is an email address and phone number at the bottom for Laurel Clark, the Librarian/Archivist. The page also mentions Emeritus Professor Ross Humphreys, author of Of Many Nations: A History of International House and Jim Kilpatrick, Deputy Librarian at International House, both of whom could possibly be emailed via Melbourne Uni. Absolutely. Consider this section a placeholder, to remind me what needs to be fixed. De Guerre 11:50, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page origin

For some reason, I happened to drop by this page today, and must say I'm a bit surprised. If you compare my original article against Bowpl's first edit, you'll see that the changes made are rather drastic. Heck, you might even say it's a completely different article. Gozzer 14:34, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
