"In February 2007, the IBT announced that it was dissolving due to lack of members. One small US-based fraction annouced that it was fusing with the Revolutionary Workers Party (Trotskyist-Posadist) (USA)." -- is there any source for this?

No. On the contrary, IBT just put up their annual mag 1917 on ther website: http://www.bolshevik.org/whats_new.html No mention of closing shop there.
