This article should be merged with potential energy which is the same thing as interaction energy.

No, interaction energies are used in completely different settings, although they are related. Salsb 12:48, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Ditto, no merge. Interaction energies, in protein-protein dynamics, are formulated in terms of positive (repulsive) and negative (attractive) Gibbs free energies. The sum of the total interaction energies for a respective process determines if it will be favored. --Sadi Carnot 11:02, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
