Into the Fire is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer/songwriter Bryan Adams, released in 1987 (see 1987 in music). The album was recorded at Cliffhanger Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia and mixed at AIR Studios in London and Warehouse Studio in Vancouver.
The album was the follow-up to his 1984 smash Reckless. Into the Fire marked a change for Adams in terms of his material. Up through the Reckless album, much of Adams' music focused around themes of a man in his late teens/early 20s. This album saw Adams explore other themes such as the plight of the North American Indians ("Native Son") and Canada's contribution to World War I ("Remembrance Day"). Singles released were "Heat Of The Night", "Victim Of Love" and "Hearts On Fire". All charted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
