Into His Hands

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Into His Hands" is a song from the 1974 musical film, Huckleberry Finn based on the book by Mark Twain. Like the song "Royalty!", this song is also sung by Harvey Korman as "The King" (of France) and David Wayne as The Duke (of Bilgwater) and is their devious attempt to convince two innocent girls that they are their devout religious cousins, in line to take responsibility for their financial assets in the wake of their father's passing. When asked to lead the mourners in prayer, the King and Duke create this "impromptu" verse to the melody of "Three Blind Mice". The song was written by the Sherman Brothers.
