From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Intiem is a South African women's magazine on sexual intimacy from a religious perspective, launched in November 2006.

Its focus is Christian Afrikaans women in South Africa. It will be a 104-page A5-size glossy magazine published by Media in Africa. The Media In Africa website says Intiem is a "casual, practical and inspiring magazine that shows married Afrikaans woman how to explore their sexuality, and how to develop techniques and creativity in the bedroom to keep passion alive in the marriage. All the articles are written out of a Christian perspective, which means that INTIEM is the first magazine where women can read ‘that which your Mom never told you’ in a safe environment."

According to International Federation of the Periodical Press, [1] Intiem is "targeted at intelligent, open-minded women above the age of 25" and was originally slated to launch in October with a press run of 30,000.

Intiem is the Afrikaans word for intimate.
