Interstate 225

Interstate 225 (abbreviated I-225) is a spur route (and the only auxiliary route) of Interstate 25 in Colorado, traversing Aurora and a small portion of Denver. It runs north from a section of Interstate 25 that is co-signed with U.S. Highway 87 to a co-signed Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 36. It also intersects with U.S. Highway 40 and U.S. Highway 287, known locally as Colfax Avenue.

An infill exit is planned at East 17th Avenue
