Internet Security Association and Key Management Protocol

Internet Security Association and Key Management Protocol (ISAKMP) is a cryptographic protocol which forms the basis of the IKE (Internet key exchange) protocol. It is defined by RFC 2408.


The IPsec Services Service in Microsoft Windows handles this functionality. Cisco network equipment also support it.
