International payment

International payments are cross border funds transfers, typically from one country to another. As a result they are usually in a foreign currency and have a foreign exchange component.

There are several ways that international payments may be transmitted, including Cheques, Telegraphic Transfers (usually via SWIFT) or money transfer.
