International University of Business Agriculture and Technology or (IUBAT) is the non government university located in Bangladesh. It was established in 1991. The university started its Degree programs in 1992 with the agreement of Assumption University of Bangkok, Thailand. IUBAT leads by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. The university is also a full member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London.[1]
It was one of the 11 universities that went operational without University Grants Commission (UGC) approval which was made a necessity under the Private University Act (1992) in Bangladesh.[2] And, it was one of the 10 universities that the UGC issued a deadline of one year to improve qualities.[3] It also introduced new academic courses without UGC approval along with a number of other private universities.[4]

IUBAT comprises with six colleges:
- College of Business Administration (CBA) - CBA has been accepted as a Member of Graduate Management Admission Council of USA.[1]
- College of Agricultural Science (CAS)
- College of Engineering And Technology (CEAT)
- College of Nursing (CN)
- College of Arts and Sciences (CAAS)
- College of Tourism and Hospitality Management
The University also contains six centers:
- South Asian Disaster Management Center (SADMC)
- Center for Management Development (CMD)
- Health and Population Center (HPC)
- Center for Technology Training, Research & Consultancy (CTTRC)
- Center for Policy Research (CPR)
- Centre for Global Environment Culture (CGEC)

IUBAT has signed articulation agreements with 30 institutions in the USA, Canada, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Thailand and Australia.
