International Tech Park, Bangalore

The International Tech Park Limited, Bangalore, or simply ITPL, is one of India's first world-class plug-and-play IT parks. As of year January 2006, ITPL was re-named as International Tech Park, Bangalore (ITPB). ITPB is situated in Whitefield, Bangalore, India. ITPB consists of five glass structures (named Discoverer, Creator, Innovator, Explorer, and Inventor) and a new block named Navigator is expected to be ready for occupation by December, 2006. Amongst the five existing blocks, the tallest is 14 levels and was inaugurated on January 21, 2000 by the Prime Minister of Singapore and the then Chief Minister of Karnataka. The five buildings provide a total area 1.9 million square feet of WiFi-enabled office and commercial area. Set in attractively landscaped surroundings, the buildings have a very modern façade with granite cladding for the lower 3 floors and glittering glass and aluminum paneling for the floors above.
Also in the construction pipeline is a Taj hotel property and a new building for TCS. ITPB has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for operation and maintenance.

The infrastructure includes:
- A dedicated power plant generating 12.5 MW. Another 5 diesel generators for emergency ensures a 3rd level of redundancy.
- Five of India's leading telecom service providers have a physical presence in the IT Park, and one has an Earth station.
- WiFi connectivity.
- Building Management System ensures that air conditioning, lifts, water level, fire safety and lighting are centrally controlled.
- 24-hour security with state-of-the-art surveillance systems and personnel trained to handle fire emergencies.
- Open, basement and multi-level car park.
- Water storage and sewage treatment plant.

The ITPL basement is home to the Tech Park Mall which has the following facilities:
- Banking and ATM facilities - this includes ICICI ATM and branch office, CITIBank ATM, HDFC Bank ATM and branch office, ING Vysya ATM and branch office and an upcoming SBI ATM.
- Courier service - Blue dart International and local courier service
- Cyber parlor - Sify broadband pay and use internet centre
- DVD rental store
- Film studio
- Food and Beverages outlets - ITPB has mix of traditional Indian restaurants and those offering international cuisines. The list of Indian style restaurants includes Kadamba, Dine and Sip, Food for Thought, Route 19 (a food court where you will find from native Bangalore style food to Chinese food). Civet (far eastern cuisine), Sindbad (NWFP cuisine) are at the higher end with excellent ambiance. Fast food style outlets are KFC, Subway and Pizza Hut. Also present are Café Coffee Day, Polar Bear ice cream and Juice Junction outlets.
