International Song Contest

The International Song Contest (ISC) is an online eurovision-based game, where members from all around the globe can send their favourite songs from their countries to compete among others.
The game focuses on getting music from all over the world and a way to have Eurovision alive all over the year.
Every edition last about one month. Usually the members have a week to send their entries, two to vote in the semifinal and one for the big final.
Created on October 2004, is to date one of the most succesful and important of the so-called "online contests" despite of heavy critics and controversies surrounding the manager and the participants.
Right now the Internet is plenty of those kind of contests, but ISC was only the second internationally-based making it the one of the most original. The emerging online contests have just copied the basis of ISC and sometimes even the website style.

[edit] Hosting
Just like in Eurovision the winning country of the past edition organizes the next edition, in which they should select two hosts, a location, venue, motto and a brand new logo.
[edit] Voting
Is the same as the modern system of Eurovision: Countries award a set of points from 1 to 8, then 10 and finally 12 to other songs in the competition – with the favourite song being awarded 12 points.
