International Peace Institute

International Peace Institute(IPI) is a peace building organization founded by Nigerian diplomat and peace advocate, Chika Sylva-Olejeme, in 1994

The Institute engages in independent projects usually based on international cooperation and children

The Institute's initiatives are the International Creed for Peace, the Peace Conservation System and the Universal Peace Protocol. The International Peace Institute operates by Informal Diplomacy in its work with Governments and Inter Governmental organisations.

The most current project of the International Peace Institute is Peace Education Project was established, January 2007, the project is aimed at establishing an International Federation of Peace Educators (IFPE) with combined effort of the Peace building initiatives of Governmental, Non and Inter-Governmental organisations

London meeting 2006

the Billionaires in solidarity, London meeting 2006 in solidarity of members of parliament, UNESCO and the Diplomatic Community in the United Kingdom the London Meeting 2006 was to encourage children from around the world to make a culture of peace mural in London.The Institute encouraged the participation of world personalities including world rich people to become messengers of peace, help the children draw and sign the mural which shall be dedicated to Peace for all humanity.

Dance of the Mask

The Dance of the Mask is a showcase of Nigerian Masks, dances, paintings and masquerades produced by the International Peace Institute, in commemoration of 2004 Black History Month. The Dance of the Mask was presented at different London Boroughs the UK Government, and among the UK Diplomatic community
