IMC, International Marketmakers Combination, was founded in 1989 at the Amsterdam Options Exchange. Since its establishment in 1989 in Amsterdam, it has grown into one of Europe’s leading derivatives trading houses. IMC's strong trading background has enabled it to develop its activities in a number of related fields, such as brokerage, derivatives consultancy, and asset management. These activities are divided over IMC subsidiaries, such as Oyens & Van Eeghen and Faxtor in the Netherlands. IMC and its subsidiaries employ some 350 people.
