International Friends is an experimental electronic dub band based in Los Angeles, California, USA. They formed in 2000 while attending New York University and are currently signed to the Permanent Marks record label. Their music has been featured in such movies as Bomb the System, Weapons, Waterborne and Roundest Wheel. Known for their extended song structure, prolific use of bass and sound effects. They've become famous for being the first band to employ live call-ins during performances over their toll free 888-INTLFUN number. Fans in the audience as well as all over the world can call in and partcipate in the live show. They sight profound influence and inspiration from their friend and mentor Lee "Scratch" Perry.
