International Federation of Netball Associations

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The International Federation of Netball Associations (INFA) is a federation of 39 netball associations from around the world, and is responsible for coordinating international netball events and procedures.

The INFA organizes the Netball World Championships and regulates international matches and series. They also adjudicate questions of discipline, rules, and umpiring. They compile World Rankings of international netball teams following each World Championship.

The INFA has successfully lobbied to have netball included as a sport at the Commonwealth Games, and is currently lobbying to have netball introduced to the Olympic Games, where it is already a "recognized" sport.
