International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine

The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine or IFCC is an organization which aims to be the leading organization in the field of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine worldwide. The goal of the organization is to enhance the scientific level and the quality of diagnosis and therapy for patients. The IFCC focuses on scientific standards, publications, education and communications.
The Scientific Division (SD) of the IFCC instigates and promotes theoretical and practical developments in the field of standards and standardisation in clinical chemistry.
