International Executive Service Corps is an American private not-for-profit organization. Its head office is located in Washington, D.C.The Geekcorps is a division of IESC. IESC was founded in 1964 by David Rockefeller and other prominent Americans.
IESC's mission, which emerged from and was inspired David Rockefeller and Sol M. Linowitz's vision more than 40 years ago, focuses on improving the lives of people throughout the world by strengthening private enterprise. Through its worldwide programs and more than 25,000 assistance assignments, IESC has brought positive change to more than 130 countries.
IESC's most important and universally applied resource is its Skills Bank registry of approximately 8,500 volunteer experts (VEs) and professional consultants. And thanks to long-standing alliances with more than 15 like organizations around the world, IESC can also call on the skills of more than 30,000 additional international experts. Regardless of nationality, these international experts are seasoned senior-level professionals drawn from virtually every economic and industry sector.
