International Academy for the Promotion of Scientific Research

The International Academy for the Promotion of Scientific Research (IAPSR), formerly the International Academy for the Promotion of Historical Studies (IAPHS), was co-founded in 1974 by the noted composer and scholar Prof. Dr. Parks Grant and graduate fellow Carl Edwin Lindgren.

The Honorary President is Dr. Stanislaw W. Dumin (Russia), and the President is Dr. Levan Z. Urushadze (Georgia), a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS). The Honorary Academicians include His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, His Majesty King Kigeli V of Rwanda; His Royal Highness Dom Miguel de Braganca, Duke of Viseu, Infante of Portugal; His Royal Highness Dom Henrique de Braganca, Duke of Coimbra, Infante of Portugal; the Most Illustrious Prince Andrei Sergeevich Obolensky; Prince Manoutchehr M. Eskandari-Qajar, President of the Kadjar Family Association; His Highness the Sultan of the Quaiti State in Hadhramaut, formerly known as the Sultan of Shihr and Mukalla; His Royal Highness Prince Hso Khan Pha of Yawngwe; His Royal Highness Rajamuda Datu Muedzul-Lail Kiram, Crown Prince of the Royal Hashemite Sultanate of Sulu and Prof. Dr. Pier Felice degli Uberti (President of the International Commission for Orders of Chivalry). Secretary of the IAPSR is Prof. Dr. Carl Lindgren (USA). Lindgren is a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science. The IAPSR has about 150 Senior Academicians, Academicians and Associates in 25 countries. IAPSR has Offices in the USA and the Republic of Georgia (Tbilisi).
