Interactive Digital Technology

Interactive Digital Technology (IDT) encompasses the underlying technology and skill sets used to make computer games that do not have entertainment as their first objective. IDT is used to create products and services in the computer game market segment known as serious games. The term was first used at the Shawnee 2.0 conference in Portsmouth, Ohio in October, 2004.
IDT includes broadband connectivity, high end computer hardware, development engines and software. IDT also includes job catagories such as programming, graphic arts, project management, story telling, script writing and art designer.
