[edit] Synopsis
Inteha is a Hindi remake of the 1996 Hollywood film Fear, starring Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon.
After her father's death, Nandini (Vidya Malavade) is forced to leave her life in Koti and move to Mumbai to take care of her younger step-sister Tina (Nauheed Cyrusi). Nandini, the illegitimate daughter, agreed to be Tina's guardian while her father was on his deathbed, but received no inheritance. However, as Tina's guardian, she was given permission to choose Tina's life partner, after which Tina could officially collect her inheritance.
Soon afterwards, a stranger named Ranbir Oberoi (Ashmit Patel) enters the naive Tina's life and they begin a romance. Despite initially approving of Ranbir, Nandini eventually comes to suspect him and believe he has a dark side. The rest of the film explores Nandini's attempts to eliminate Ranbir from Tina's life permanently, much to the chagrin of both Tina and Ranbir.
