[edit] Fair use rationale

The photograph, set at a low resolution, and originally uploaded in an inferior graphics format (JPEG) depicts actual sets of the board game Monopoly, made for consumer markets outside the United States. Thus it illustrates the international reach of the board game since Parker Brothers acquired it in 1935. While this artwork is copyrighted, it is not believed that its use in the article History of the board game Monopoly will infringe on the copyright holders, Parker Brothers/Hasbro (or their licensees), as such use is for educational and informational purposes only.

[edit] Licensing

qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information.

To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.
