I think this article requires a cleanup, it has much potential to explain the benifit of one institution but do we need to repeat the IEE and IIE articles telling about a long pre-IET history; would one paragraph, with appropriate links, not do the same but focuses primarily on the IET alone? The listing of grades could be better presented (a table?) or even removed with a link to the website. Its very easy to get carried away in an article and pan it out with history and hard facts but little essence. Djegan 20:59, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

I have performed a cleanup (and removed the tag). The changes made:
  • Removed history of IEE and IIE (these can be found on the individual pages).
  • Added section on "Purpose and function" (moved from IEE page) as this pretty well describes what the IET does.
  • Formatted "Qualifications" section with headers.
  • Removed IET.tv section as this was a copy and paste from IET website
