Talk:Institute of Business Studies & Research

I donot know how to talk or write message to you. When I am writing all this, it means I know a lot. I am founder and settler of the charitable Trust "IBSAR" and handed over it to Monga to run the Trust in a charitable way and as per law. I did not know what Monga had in mind and he started a private coaching business under the umbrella of a charitable trust. He is ruuning from pillar to post to get recongnition from any University, but which University in India will involve itself in private business. I have moved courts to stops its business and disolve the trust or remove trustees. Police, Income Tax department, Higher Education department, UGC etc are after cheaters, but legal matters take time, to bring the cheaters to book. I have filed criminal cases against him and I shall be able to remove them. But if sites like you promote bogus colleges then students are misguided and cheaters earn money. I donot know who you are, but stop this and delete the site. Donot help cheaters. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Institute of Business Studies and Research (talk • contribs).
- I searched on Newsbank for any articles refering to IBSAR. My search came up with two articles. The first is from India Business Insight (India) and dated June 30, 2005. It outlines IBSAR course offerings and some requirements. It seems like it is probably just a press release from the institute itself, but does say that IBSAR is "affiliated to the Sardar Vallabhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology and is recognised by the University Grants Commision and AIC". The second is a July 11, 2006 article that only mentions IBSAR as one institution among many that offers a course in logistics and supply chain management. Neither article mentions any controversy surrounding IBSAR, but then neither of them really seems like any close investigation of the institute was done either. --Dekkanar 14:26, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- I have not been able to find any additional sources regarding any controversy. However, User:Institute of Business Studies and Research has contacted me repeatedly regarding this. See User talk:Institute of Business Studies and Research and my talk page. I added the {{Disputed}} tag to the article to indicate that there might be a problem and I asked the user to provide verifiable sources for his/her claims. I asked the user to post the sources here for other editors to review so that hopefully a consensus can be reached. Accurizer 14:38, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Been hounding me a bit too. I can find information that they're listed as a place offering MBA's and are listed on indianmba.com and the All india managment association site, [adverts] that show they're actively recruiting academic staff. It may be (from the editors email he left in the edit) that he is from the Research Centre for Social Sciences, Maharashtra - Mumbai - I can see that a POV for an ex-wikipedia issue may be being pushed here - Peripitus (Talk) 11:33, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

- Perhaps you are right. If verifiable sources are not forthcoming within a week, I think it would be reasonable to dismiss this as POV and remove the {{Disputed}} tag. Accurizer 14:35, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
