The Northside Duces started in 1970. We started the Northside Duces because a member of the Morgan Duces of 18th Street was a cousin of Wetback my childhood friend. We became the Insane Duces in 1972. The Young Duces was formed shortly after and Hamlin Park was their turf. The Young Dueces formed an alliance with the Simon City Royals. The Insane Duces did not approve of this alliance and had a falling out with the Young Dueces. We had a fight with the Insane Dueces and ultimately the main Young Deuces became Insane Deuces. In 1974 a Duce shot Arab of the Simon City Royals; he was the President at the time. He was shot near Belmont and Damen near a fast food restaurant called Manjovins. He was sitting in the car at the time;he was killed. That is how the Royals became our enemies.
