Instrumental transcommunication

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Instrumental transcommunication (ITC) is a paranormal phenomena in which spirit or other discarnate entities are said to communicate with the living through electronic devices such as fax machines, television set or computer. [1] Research into ITC falls within the boundaries of parapsychology.

An example, put forward as being ITC, is an incident which occurred at 1:22 p.m. on October 21, 1987 in which the image of EVP researcher Friedrich Jürgenson (whose funeral was held that day) is said to have appeared on a television in the home of a colleague, which had been purposefully tuned to a vacant channel.
