The Institute of Finance and Economics (Mongolian: Санхvv Эдийн Засгийн Дээд Сургууль) is one of the biggest educational institutions of Mongolia.

The Institute was founded on June 1, 1924 with a name of "School of Custom's Officers" in Ulaanbaatar. In 1931, it changed its name to "School of Accounting" and added subjects. Then in 1946, shortly after the World War II, the school again changed its name to "College of Finance and Economics" and retained much of its current philosophies and subjects.

College of Finance and Economics changed its name again to the current name in 1997 and added postgraduate courses. Taught subjects include business administration, financial management, accounting and bookkeeping. The institute is located on the banks of Selbe river at the heart of Ulaanbaatar city.
