The Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP; French for "Institute of Geophysics, Paris") is a French research and higher education establishment located in Paris, dedicated to the study of the Earth (geology, geochemistry, geophysics, and seismology). Its main location is presently inside the Jussieu Campus in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, although plans are underway to move the institute to a dedicated facility adjacent to the Jardin des Plantes. IPGP is one of the world's largest geophysical institutions (or academic departments), and employs many world-renowned Earth scientists.

IPGP maintains volcanologic observatories on Réunion (Piton de la Fournaise), Guadeloupe (La Soufrière) and Martinique (Mount Pelée) islands.
