From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

International Security Instructors or ISI (originally Instinctive Shooting International) is a security company specializing in the deployment of security forces to disaster areas. The company provides made-to-scale protection and private law enforcement solutions in multiple countries. Nearly all ISI personnel have completed compulsory military service in the Israeli Security Forces, frequently in more prestigious units, such as counter-terrorist forces and the General Security Services.

ISI has been reported to provide armed guards on contract to the Department of Homeland Security, and to wealthy private homeowners, for use in the Hurricane Katrina relief area.
