Insight Venture Partners is an expansion-stage venture capital and private equity firm in the United States, operating offices in New York City and Boston, specializing exclusively in internet, software, digital media, and technology services companies. Insight invests in entrepreneurial companies developing technology-based solutions for the corporate enterprise.

Among the members of its Executive Advisory Board are: Robert Rubin, a current Member of the Office of the Chairman of Citigroup, former US Secretary of the Treasury and Chairman of the National Economic Council under the Clinton Administration and a former Chairman of Goldman Sachs; Eric Schmidt, the current CEO of Google, former CEO and Chairman of Novell, and a founder of Sun Microsystems; and Scott Cook, the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Intuit.

Insight was founded by current managing directors Jeff Horing and Jerry Murdock. Other managing directors include Larry Handen, Jeff Lieberman, Scott M. Maxwell, Deven Parekh, Peter Sobiloff, and Mike Triplett.
