Inside Washington

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Inside Washington is a political roundtable show hosted by WJLA news anchor and chief political reporter Gordon Peterson. It is produced by Allbritton, owner of WJLA, and distributed to PBS stations nationwide. He has 4 panelists showing their opinions on political topics that are in the news during the week. Inside Washington used to be on WUSA 9, but because of Gordon Peterson moving to ABC 7, the show was brought to WJLA as well. Inside Washington is the descendant of Agronsky and Co., hosted by Martin Agronsky and produced by Post-Newsweek, then owners of WUSA 9 from 1971-1988. Upon Martin Agronsky's retirement, Gordon Peterson took over as host, and the show was renamed Inside Washington. Gannett took over production for the remainder of its run on WUSA.

In Washington DC, Inside Washington airs on PBS station WETA Friday nights at 8:30 PM, and on NewsChannel 8 Saturday nights at 7:00 PM, in addition to Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM on WJLA.
