Insector X

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Insector X is a horizontal shooter by Taito, released in 1989. The player controls an insect-sized warrior who takes on a vast army of cyborg insects. The game uses two buttons: a main shot and an upgradable secondary weapon. This arcade game was also released for NES and Sega Genesis. It is also available in Taito Legends 2 compilation, released for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

The Sega Genesis version is distinguished from the arcade version and the NES port in that the "cute" super deformed manga-style sprites have been replaced with more conventional, serious looking like sprites.
