Insane Deuces

The Insane Deuces are a street gang composed of mostly Hispanics but also include, African-Americans, though they do allow all races to join. The Insane Deuces are said to be the one of the more violent and numerous gangs in both Chicago and Aurora Illinois. They are members of the Folk Nation and they also have a long lasting rivalry with the Latin Kings. These gang members can be recognized by their green and black attire or hats tilted to the right. They have been known to be in Delray, Michigan.

The Insane Deuces started after two street gangs united in the Lathrop Homes and Hamlin Park in the late 1960's: the Barons, who controlled the Hamlin Park area and the Blackhawks who controlled the Lathrop homes. The Deuces consolidated their control of the Hamlin Park area, engaging in turf battles with other street gangs.
In the early 1980s the deuces joined the people alliance. They also engaged in a bloody war with the Simon City Royals during this time. In early 1990s, after several disputes with the Latin Kings street gang, a war erupted from the most unusual of circumstances. In 1991, one of the leaders of the Deuces, "Lil Man," had a sexual relationship with the sister of Latin King leader named Gustavo "Gino" Colon. Colon objected to this relationship, and informed the Insane Deuce "Lil Man" to stop with what he perceived to be an act of "disrespect". The situation intensified when the Kings were instructed to kill off the members of the Insane Deuces. The Deuces retaliated for the "attempted" killing and killed a high ranking Aurora Latin King (in the suburb of Aurora (spade town), the Deuces are at their strongest number). Meanwhile in the Hamlin Park area of Chicago's north side, the Deuces began to dispute with members of the Latin Kings for control of the Lathrop Homes projects. This culminated into the Deuces flipping from the People Nation to the Folk Nation in 1992 and later joining the "Insane Familia". In 1994 the Cullerton Deuces became Insane Deuces and flipped from People to Folk, making the Deuces even stronger in number.
During the 90s the Deuces fought wars with Latin Kings, Vice Lords, Maniac Latin Disciples (MLDs), and Satan Disciples (SDz) in Aurora, Illinois. During the mid 90s, the Deuces went to war with the SDz in Aurora and completely wiped them out in that area. In the late 90s, the Deuces aligned themselves with the Ambrose and together they wiped out a major MLD set in Aurora.
The Deuces have a strong presence on Chicago's Northside as well as on the southside around Cullerton St. and 43rd St. They also have a strong presence in the suburbs of Aurora and Elgin along with a few other Chicagoland suburbs.
