The Inquisitorial Squad is a fictional organisation in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, an equivalent to Dumbledore's Army.
The Squad was founded by Dolores Umbridge to exert greater control over Hogwarts, and included the children of some of her friends at the Ministry such as Lucius Malfoy's son Draco Malfoy. All the members mentioned are from Slytherin House.
Their badge is a small silver "I" worn on the chest. Members of the Inquisitorial Squad have the ability to take away points from the school houses, and even from other Prefects (which normally was not allowed), a power they often abuse.
The Squad could be seen as the counterpart to Dumbledore's Army, just as Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters are the counterpart to the Order of the Phoenix.
The Squad was involved in the attempted capture of Fred and George Weasley, who escaped and left Hogwarts.
