Inotera

"Inotera Memories, Inc." (Traditional Chinese: 華亞科技, Hanyu Pinyin: huā yà kē jì) is a 50:50 joint venture of Qimonda (Germany) and Nanya Technology (Taiwan). The company was founded in January 2003 and focuses on the production of DRAM wafers.

Inotera opened by mid-2004 a 300mm semiconductor production facility located in Hwa-Ya Technology Park in Kueishan, Taoyuan County, Taiwan. Inotera’s Fab-1 has reached the maximum capacity of 65 thousand 300mm-wafer starts per month. Inotera’s Fab-2 had its groundbreaking in May of 2005 and the company expects to start the equipment move-in in November 2006.
