Ingo Star Cruiser

Ingo Star Cruiser is an Alternative band formed in Dorset in 1995. (Pete Ingo aka Peter Bellchamber vocals, Katherine Bottrill,guitar, Robert Murray bass, Ben Ashby guitar and Robert Wittaker on drums.) The band (now Pete Ingo, Katy Coleman Keys & Vocals, Wayne Duncan Drums, Wayne Higgins guitar, Matt O'Leary bass) released their first single Contrafus/The Whistling Sounds Of A Falling Projectile on Northampton's Kooky Label in September 1999.

In October 2000 the first album PS.I Cuddle A Box was released as the first Album on Moshi Moshi Records.(Pete Ingo, Ben Turner keys,Matt O Leary, Matt Clarke) The Album was made up of recordings made between May 1997 and March 2000 and included two songs produced by PJ Harvey Engineer Head. Ingo Star Cruiser played Glastonbury in 2003 as a one man band consisting of Pete Ingo after winning a Playlouder unsigned band competition beating Keane and Boxer Rebellion.

The same year Pete Ingo co-wrote two songs, Evel Song and Kitchen Sink Drama for the album 'L'llustration Musicale' by The King Of Woolworths that was released on Mantra Recordings and played a series of shows in New York including CBGBs as part of a Moshi Moshi Records tour with label mate Matt Harding. These dates also included a show with Morningwood Having parted company with Moshi Moshi Records in 2004 Pete Ingo played guitar with Minuteman including Glastonbury that year.

Pete Ingo is now the sole member of Ingo Star Cruiser and in 2006 remixed the track 'Destroy My Brain' for a band on his new label Izumi Records. This same label also released an album 'It's Not Like Christmas'in November 2006 in aid of the Charity Shelter which included the Ingo Star Cruiser cover of Low's "Just Like Christmas.' The track featured vocals from Swedish singer Gaby Fröden and was produced by David Lynch.
