[edit] Ballistic missile template?

TreveX - the template on the Trident missile site looks good. Before it gets more general use, I have a few suggestions.

You've included fields for 'propulsion', 'guidance system', and 'maxiumum speed'. These would not be appropriate for a a gravity bomb. However, these, and every other field, would be appropriate for a non-nuclear weapon, such as the V-2 rocket. Might I suggest that what you have created is not a 'nuclear weapon' template but a 'ballistic missile' template?

I think a 'payload weight' field would be useful for directly comparing the performance of different rockets. Yield is of interest, but says less about the performance of the rocket, and more about its intended purpose. Both would be useful.

I went ahead and added 'payload' - Crosbiesmith 21:56, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

This should probably be merged / replaced with Template:Infobox_Missile. - Crosbiesmith 09:36, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
