This is a very useful template. I discovered someone else's template that allows you to place a red dot on a map of NY at the location of town (based on the town's lat/long) -- Template:GBNewYorkState. We should consider modifying the Infobox's markup to accommodate using this template; it would save everyone the effort of making unique maps for every location in NY Jim Dunning 17:33, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
